I'm still scheduled to show this weekend.  Like I mentioned in an earlier post, I'll be showing at the Atlanta show in Conyers and am super excited to ride at the facility where the Olympics were held in 1996.

I'm a little less certain than my performance will be gold medal this weekend just because I haven't had time to ride!  I know all us amateur riders find ourselves in the same spot, but dang!  I have been looking forward to the show for a while and then, out of the blue, work and life get soooo busy that my riding took a back seat this week.  Oh well!  Just have to keep riding and trying and being realistic with expectations, I guess.

If anyone has tips for staying relaxed in competition and staying focused too, I'd love to hear them.

Cheers!

As a follow-up to this pre-show post, I'd just like to add that I had a great time at the show, felt less nervous than I normally do, and think I learned a good bit watching the other riders. The riders were phenomenal and the showgrounds and facility were amazing too.

Even though I wasn't in tiptop form, it was a positive learning experience and I can't wait to try again.
