I will be at Pinehurst if the foal is born before hand! I am planning on it anyway...sending in my entries and then hoping I can go!

That's a tough spot to be in Castlegate - it's a lot of money to send in and possibly "give away" if DJ goes into foal that weekend; but if you DO end up at Pinehurst, maybe we can meet up! (I'll be the one making various versions of chocolate martini's.. )

As far as the clinic, I think I'd rather audit. I learned the hard way about riding in a clinic before auditing. It was my very first few months of dressage learning and I had no idea what clinics were like or what the teaching techniques of the clinician (Cesar Parra) were, so I pretty much came away learning nothing because I didn't understand what he was trying to accomplish, and it cost me almost $200 to not learn So from then on, I vowed to audit first.

(Besides, isn't that clinic the weekend between Pinehurst and the schooling show at Latta? I think if Jessie has 3 weekends in a row being trailered she'll have my head.....LOL)

Yeah, well now I am starting to re-think my decision to send entry to Pinehurst...I am starting to think that I would have a hard time leaving knowing at that point she was already 2 weeks over due (but not uncommon) - so now...MORE STRESS! I hate decisions! If I dont ride...maybe I will drive down for the day and have some of those martini's!

Of course, if I dont get my you know what together and ride, there is no point in going anyway...and why exactly is it that both of my mares have hard as heck trots to sit anyway...???? I used to think Angie was hard to sit because she wasnt really through and not over her back...well...now that we got THAT behind us...trot still HARD to sit! and then of course the pregnant one...heck...I think it took me a year to learn to sit hers! I remember Miss E having me on a lunge line and holding the pommel for dear life...never did get easier. LOL!
